Melting WW, Lead and making Ingots?

How do you guys melt your lead and WW to make your ingots?

I use my turkey fryer burner and a large cast iron dutch oven. I also keep my WW and pure lead separate when making ingots so I can use tailor the hardness of my metal later when I cast.

I use a turkey fried as well. I saw some pictures of a set up that used the "pan" of a heavy duty wheel barrel over a large burner. A shovel served as a paddle. Rendered alloy was moved to the frier then to ingots. This guy had a lot of stuff to work on but he broke it down quick. I'm thinking about doing this as well as I have 1K lbs of WW and 2K lbs of linotype that needs to be worked.

The turkey and dutch oven works well and is quick. Ditto on keeping the WW and pure separate.

For ingot moulds I use 2 sizes of cupcake pans. The small ones help round out the casting pot and help get the ratio right when mixing WW & pure.
