Your TCP should run Remington ammo....call Taurus to see if they will at least send you another magazine to try...otherwise it sounds like she should go back to the factory...
Best regards
Eric
I'm gonna keep this thread updated on my TCP progress, unless I need to post it elsewhere.
Called Taurus today 2-22-12 and explained my issues. They are gonna send me two brand new magazines and see if that helps my jamming issues. If not they will take the pistol in for repair.
I am satisfied with this solution and hope this will correct my jamming issues. I'm still concerned over the "light strike" issues but will give the pistol a good scrubbing and change ammo brands.
i own a tcp never an issue.ive never seen people at the range carrying a gun cleaning kit. to me its almost unbeleavable
Welcome from North Texas.
The "C" model is the latest from what I can tell. is there a way to check the barrel and feed ramp to see if it the up dated one. It seems that this is the culprit in alot of feeding issues
why listen to people on a gun form half of them lie,and 40% of the other quotes from the magazines. maybe 10% might tell the truth
I've seen this problem on several gun forums many times and the issues seem to have a common denominator: failure to thoroughly clean the gun before shooting. The gun runs fine for a little while, then FTF and FTE problems begin. Barring mechanical issues, a good cleaning (including the striker/firing-pin channel) usually cues the problems. But, why ask for trouble? Thoroughly clean the weapon first, then go have fun at the range.
