However they can be accurate at 25 too.

Hi my fellow lovers of the 709 -
What distance do you like to practice at? What is the farthest to which you find your gun is still accurate? (zero points on an IDPA target)

I haven't shot mine past 15 yards but it is very accurate at those distances. One of these days I would like to actually use it in a IDPA match.
I've been practicing point shooting at 7 yards
5,7 and 10 yards, depending on how the range is marked.
In Missouri, the maximum distance for a legal shooting is 7 yards; if the perp is 8 or more yards away, you're supposed to run away.

7-15 yards is as far as I practice with mine.
When I get the opportunity I'll try some 25 yard shooting again just to see where things stand. It's been awhile.
Haven't had mine very long, but usually about 10-15 yds. A little short on funds, want at least three boxes to really get a good feel for it and get the sights exactly where I want them. Can hit bullseye around 5-7 yds, hit low and left after that.
Sorry , i was just making a funny.Won't do it again.
