Yellow TCP

Would any of you buy the yellow-framed TCP if the price were low enough? Perhaps some of you already have. I think I would have to be pretty desperate or the price would have to be pretty amazing to get me to buy it. IMHO, the color is just plain ugly. I wonder why Taurus did this anyway? I personally would prefer something in OD or FDE. However, a bad guy confronted by my yellow Taurus pistol might laugh himself to death, and I wouldn't have to shoot!

I don't think it's bad, but it almost looks to be a toy at that rate. I wonder if they're testing the waters for several color options. At the price they sell for currently, offering a selection of colors could drive a lot of business.

would you prefer pink or lavender?

i think the carbonfiber one looks aweful personaly and i would buy yellow before that. happy with my standard black, though i think the grey one could be nice if it were just a bit darker.

I would like one in a dark gray.

I considered a pink/SS one I saw for sale. It's the kind of gun no one is going to see anyway. Plus, I know a cheap airbrush artist.

...makes it easier to locate in the dark, or if dropped in shallow water or a wooded area...

Come to think of it, Duracoat will make it any color I want. Hmm...
