    709 is a gun, 709M is a magazine? That is what Taurus shows anyway!!!

    DUH--------I was just on Buds Guns site and they show a 709 and a M709 and old dummy me put the M on the wrong side of the 709. Is the M709 an updated version or just a numbering bo bo

    OK, in Buds listing they show the M709, however the picture is from the original Taurus pre model, the one they are selling are the 709 with the slanted trigger guard, not the round one that showed the year the model started up.

    Their pictures suck big time????

    I had these same type of questions asked when i was taken to the hospitals "Special" floor!
    the "M" is the difference!!
