    Hmm, 5000 or maybe 3500 rounds. I've a ways to go.

    I wonder if ya can get a recoil spring through another source w/o sending the gun to Taurus

    I would not send the gun in for a recoil spring... Just call and order one , that's what I did. seven to ten working days and its in your hand

    The only 24/7 pistols that i know of that have a steel rod in the recoil spring is the OSS models, they are completely different being a single spring as well.
    the others that i have seen are plastic rods, which likely are better than the steel rods anyway.
    the springs wear out seldom do the plastic rods.

    well with the first edition 24/7's going away it might not be a totally bad idea to have a few recoil spring assemblies on hand for hard times in the future.
    either that or we are going to need to get McGiverbeardslee to go into production with his!-LOL
