G2 Double Round Fire
I have the 9mm G2 17 rd. I am have a random occurance of a double round fire with one trigger squeeze. Has anyone else seen this. Should I be concerned?

Hmm....be nice to figure out how to tweak it out for "full mag" fire w/one pull right? I'm just sayin....it'd be fun..

Had that happen to one of my pistols once, I gave it a thorough cleaning and that seemed to fix it....

Sounds like "bump firing" but you are doing this accidentally...not on purpose?

Yes accidently. It happens when I am trying to fire moderatly fast. Not so much a rapid fire but not a slow aimed shot either.

Very unsafe !!!!!! My PT 740 started doing that I cleaned it. Back to the range same thing,, Back to Taurus. Had it back in 4 days. Good job Taurus , It has been fine for the last 700 rounds, Your gun is unsafe in that condition !!

Sounds like a sear or trigger reset issue, i would definitely get that back to Taurus ASAP. Hopefully you'll have a quick turnaround.

I have nearly 900 rounds through my G2 40 and I have not experienced this. I would call CS and I am pretty sure it will be on its way for a hot and humid vacation in Florida soon.
But don't worry it will return as good as new.
