My PT 145 was like that and I even bought it used...must not have been used much. I kept them loaded for a few weeks and they loosened up.
I just got a new 24/7 OSS .45 and everything seems fine except I have to push REALLY HARD to get a 12 round mag into the gun. It's easier with 11 rounds and easier yet with 10 rounds. Is this because the mag spring is brand new and needs to be broken in? If anyone has had this happen to them any advice would be appreciated.

"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the new wonderful good society which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean more money, more ease, more security, and more living fatly at the expense of the industrious." -- Marcus Tullius Cicero
I had issues getting the 15th round in my 40 when new, now that I've had em packed and cycled they have loosened up allowing me to put the 15th in.

Welcome from North Texas.
I think all new mags are that way.
I still have a very hard time loading the 17th round into mine, so I only load 15.
With the 2 new mags I got from brojon I have 4, so 60 rounds carried should be enough.
