As I have no experience with a glock I can't do a comparison. However, IMHO I like the ability of the second strike with the 24/7 which is why I went with it in the first place. I had an XD for a while and wound up selling it because I couldn't get used to the DA trigger.

    Reduce them to shreds
Reuse shoot them more than once

    I own two 24/7 Pro 9mm, a G17 and a G19, and three Bersa Thunder 9's.

I like the fit and feel of the 24/7. It has a good weight and balance. The action has a smooth feel to it during firing. Hard to describe - kind of less flippy. I like the 2nd chance striker DA feature. I like that it has a traditional safety. I like the speed of the straight 8 sights.

I had problems with both my 24/7 from day 1. One was overly tight. The other hit way off target. The plastic FP rods are a poor design and prone to failure.

My Glocks have less features, and for me they don't have the same natural POA as I get from the Taurus pistols, but they were accurate and 100% reliable right out of the box. If I had to choose between the two, Glock wins hands down simply based on reliable performance.

FWIW, the Bersa guns have also been 100% reliable and accurate out of the box. And they have nice features like external hammer and decocker and good triggers. If I had to choose, I'd take the Bersa's over the Taurus too. My only beef with the Bersa's is the short barrel, but hey, you should expect to get a short barrel if that's what you buy. They'll never be better than 3" at 15 yards. Great defensive carry gun, not so great for USPSA etc.

When they run, the 24/7 are a joy to shoot and I shoot them well. Maybe someday I'll get them to a state of reliability. Maybe Taurus worked all the kinks out in the Gen 2.

    That's my .02.

Either or are fine provided they go 'Bang' when you want them to.

Needs more info, which model 24/7 and which model Glock?

I have about 3000 rounds through a Glock22 .40 and if I had to pick between it and my 24/7 OSS 9mm, I would choose my OSS without hesitation.

Ergos, comfort, natural grip, accuracy, trigger...it all goes to the OSS in my opinion.

Keep in mind, the Glock is combat Tupperware, it's nothing if not reliable.
However being a comfortable and natural feeling shooter isn't something I think of when I hear the word "Glock."

They're both good guns, so it depends on the job you have in mind for them.

I like the grip angle of the 24/7 better than the Glock...the 24/7 seems thinner..not as Glocky ..I mean Blocky...I know that a Glock brings more dough..but for my use I just soon have two 24/7's as one Glock..

I have experience with Glocks but none with the 24/7. I like Glocks, but I am not a Glock zealot. Indeed, the Glock zealots call me a Glock "hater" because I questioned whether Glocks really are perfect. I am interested to hear the opinions on this thread.

Glocks generally are reliable and durable. They are very easy to work on. Parts are inexpensive and readily available. I question whether .40 Glocks have more than their fair share of ka-booms (this question got me in trouble with the Glock zealots).

I have both guns, a 9mm OSS and 2 Glock 23's. One for home defense with a laser grip and a light on the rail, and one Talo edition for cc. I bought the OSS to shoot in IDPA. I must say that I like them both, although I have had problems out of the OSS I haven't had with the glocks. Which is why when I bought a third gun to be my cc, I went with the glock 23. But the glocks are definitely not untouched. Both have different drop in trigger kits in them. I do love shooting my OSS though, with the trigger reset. And I really like the looks, mine is black and tan.
    Oh, I can't decide...

I have never fired a 24/7. I own a Glock 21 and it has been nothing but boringly reliable in the 17+ years I have owned and carried it.
    Taurus makes a nice weapon.
Glock makes a nice weapon also.

No current manufacturer is the "end all be all" of weapon manufacturing, they all make good products (well maybe not jennings/jimenz ;-) ) and they all have had some problems.

Find one that fits your needs and your grip then find reliable ammo for it.
Shoot often and enjoy your 2nd amendment rights.
