24/7 G2 Compact Magazine Spacer/Sleeves

I'm a new owner of a Taurus 24/7 G2 Compact. I also recently purchased some additional mags (3 17 rd). Unfortunately, these mags do NOT come with the Spacer/Sleeve that did come with the 17rd mag out of the box. So while the mags do fit, the gun looks silly without that spacer/sleeve. A fairly exhaustive search does not yield any hits such that I could purchase some. So with that said, does anyone know where I can find three mag spacer/sleeves meant to fit these new mags (Taurus Model #: 5-24709G2-17)?

I know we had it somewhere here on site, but with the changes, I cannot find the part # anymore.

Thank You. For the life of me, it makes no sense to me why this wouldn't be offered by Taurus in the marketplace. Do they think Compact owners won't care?

Plus I wish to know, will the several mags I already have for my ( IST GEN ) 24/7 PRO and 24/7 OSS fit perfect in my new GEN 2 ??

They definitely rattle. I have a full size .45 G2, and with a loaded mag it rattles. I really don't see this being any kind of issue at all, as there is no reason to shake your hand in the way that makes it rattle, and if you have a full grip on it, your pinkie goes around the bottom of the mag and prevents it from rattling anyway. Having said that, it's weird that they rattle.

Also, I'm still having trouble with my G2. If I fully load the mag, it jams every time. What's happening is that the mag springs seem to be feeding the next round in before the last one can get clear. It requires me to drop the mag to unjam. The only thing I've found so far that works is to only load 6 rounds or so in the mag, then no issues. Oddly enough, I can also load 8-10 Blazer rounds and not have an issue. My theory is the friction of the Blazer casing prevents the mag from shoving the next round up too fast, where the good brass ammo just slides on up. Hopefully a good fully-loaded mag break in period will fix this, but we'll see.

Did anyone have any luck locating the magazine spacers/sleeves for G2 compact hi-cap magazines? I just called customer service & rep said he could not locate such part. If anyone has a part # please forward.

Yes, this morning (the rep stated he even asked his supervisor & said they don't sell the spacers/sleeves).. Not sure if I just spoke to the wrong person (with limited knowledge or what). That's why I was trying to see if any one had any success ordering them thus far (& what methods did you use, do you have a part # to reference).

Kind of frustrating (new gun cannot find proper replacement magazines)..

Called Taurus Customer Service back again (Spoke to a different rep). He stated that they have never sold the magazine spacer/sleeves for the G2 Compact as of yet. They are only coming shipped with new guns only. He could not say for certain if this part will become available or not in the near futute (WTF)..I can only have (1) 12 RD .45 acp mag (POS)!!! How long have these been on the market?? Taurus come on get your act together!!

Sorry for the venting (if I would have known this in advance, maybe I would have gone with another standard G2 instead)...
