so i put about 125 rounds through it tonight. and in all those, had ONE FTE. and it was a reload. I fired a combination of remington, winchester, and some reloads from my nearest gun store. The reloads are good for practicing. But the box of 100 rds from walmart for 20 bucks isn't too bad a deal either. Either way, I love the gun. Fires so smoothly. Just need to keep practicing my trigger control. which will fine tune my accuracy. In good time! As soon as I get all that down, I will get my CCW and start carrying when possible. Gave it a try at home with the holster, and surprisingly could hardly tell it was there when looking at me. And it allowed me to be able to bend over and move freely without getting stabbed by the slide.
Nice shooting and i love the stainless steel congrats. I'm ashamed to admit I don't know the 24/7 models very well is it a g1 or g2. Been thinking of taking my brother out have him pick one out an pay for it for his birthday. He loves my pt111 mil pro ss but i know he has been looking at 17+1 cap and has to be ss. any advice would be appreciated.
welcome to the forum!
I think the "RIBBERS" were discontinued about 2009 or so.
Also they were never put on the 45 ACP versions from my understanding, I got two 24/7 C Pro D/S and the 9MM has the ribbers, actually after owning the guns for a while i pay no attention to any difference in the Ribber model and the regular grip.
I also got a 24/7 OSS D/S, so got guns on both sizes of yours.
great shooting weapons and very reliable for me, the C models make toting a bit easier, the OSS is mostly a range and carry on the belt holster gun when wandering the woods or such.
enjoy and keep us posted.

My 24/7 pro cds .45 has the ribbers, in fact it looks just like your 9mm. I purchased it new this year. ser # NCT 19011. You are right, it was produced in 2009. It's hard to believe it had been in the store that long without a sale.
Intetesting, seems the "Mystery" continues in different models of Tauurs weapons, several here have said the 45 acp was never equipted with ribber.
I can't say one way or the other as pure fact.
Because your 24/7 is a 2009 model doens't mean thta it sat around in the store waiting for a good home, likely it set around in a wholesalers warehouse for that long , soemtimes the stock doesn't get rotated like it should.
there were a lot of 24/7 Long Slides that hit the market not to long ago and they have been off the market for some time, about the time period that the OSS hit the market.
there was also a bunch of 24/87 Pro that hit the market and of course that is the pre 24/7 Pro D/S model.
Awesome looking gun! I bought my 24/7 compact Gen1 about three months ago. I put about 500 rounds through it with no issues at all. Its my favorite pistol to CC.
