The 24/7 Pro Longslide was made BEFORE the 24/7 OSS was made available. The chief differences are that the 24/7 Pro longslide does not have the Decocking feature. The 9mm/.40 OSS versions will not have the Ribber Grips. The OSS models also have a Lanyard loop on the back bottom of the Grip.
Not trying to rouse anybody up, but my 24/7 Pro LS DS in .40 S&W does have a decocking feature. I just picked up a 24/7 OSS in 9mm Monday and from what I can tell, two of the differences I see is the OSS has the ambi safety and the mag release can be moved for lefties. The grips are the same on both. Havent checked to see when they were both made but it may have been a switchover/retooling/"Let's use some of these parts, too" sort of deal.
OSS has ambi safety, match grade barrel, stiffer recoil spring, and a tighter fit between the barrel/slide/frame. Plus OSS just sounds better and tougher than long slide IMHO.

YEP! and depending on the when the LS was made it may have hienie straight eight sights on it, as noted by JWC above , the LS was by my understanding pretty much worked out of the production when the OSS came in, there is obviously some overlap in them between Pro and Pro D/S.
not sure about the LS but the OSS has a single recoil spring, not a dual set as well.
The 1 I just bought must be a hybrid, It has a single recoil spring, 3 dot sights, and the de-cocker, but doesn't have the ambi safety or the ribber grip it is 12 +1 in .45 caliber. Thanks for all the information, I may have gotten a priceless Taurus gun.LOL ;D
If you have any extras, or want to get rid of one, I may have room for it.
