After having my new 24/7 G2 in 9mm just sitting in the box with 200 rounds of FMJ lingering nearby for over a week, I was able to get out to the range this past weekend and break her in. I set up a moveable target at the 10m mark and plastered the carboard with reactive targets and slowly worked through the first box of ammo.
My groups were consistently about three inches low so I had a friend try a hand and he felt it was shooting low as well. A few quick turns of the rear sight adjustment, blew the red bullseye out immediately. VERY accurate, though I think I'm going to need to learn this trigger. I'm used to a more progressive DA but I'm sure my trigger control will smooth out with more dry firing.
We then set back some and started shooting at 12m where, by the time I got to the fourth box of ammo, I was keeping my groups inside of 3". VERY nice. Zero FTE's or FTF's. I'd heard some people didn't care for how the controls were set up on the 24/7 but I found them to work great for me, and the adjustable backstrap allowed me to get a good, solid grip once I had the right one on.
Once I get the trigger down and start to feel comfortable with it, I'll be moving onto things such as movement and reload drills. I think I'm going to be enjoying this fun pistol. I have to say, for the price, this is a heck of a gun!
