Weekend Competition with my Taurus!

I got my first Taurus in December, started practicing with it soon thereafter and just used it in my first USPSA/IPSC match this past weekend. Placed 19th overall in a field of 28 shooters. Placed 3rd in Minor power factor out of 9 shooters. The PT 24/7 ran perfectly by the way.

Keep in mind this is only my second match I've ever shot... my first match last year I used a 1911 and came in dead last! ;D

Lovin' my Taurus!

Congratulations!!! Good Shooting! What kind of holster did you use?

I've shot my 9mm 24/7 Pro in some of our local IPSC practice matches and really like how quickly it handles. Typically, I've used my PT92.

Right now I'm just using a basic nylon, holds-anything-holster. I've been looking but still haven't found the right kydex-type holster for it. I wanted a Fobus, but the darn thing is way too tight. Any suggestions?

Currently, I'm using a Blackhawk Serpa Holster, which I like. Other holsters for the Springfield XD may also work. Also, I've fitted an XD Guide Gear Holster to mine with some heat from a Hair Dryer. They can be had pretty cheaply.

Also, see our stickeyed Holster thread.
