I got my first Taurus in December, started practicing with it soon thereafter and just used it in my first USPSA/IPSC match this past weekend. Placed 19th overall in a field of 28 shooters. Placed 3rd in Minor power factor out of 9 shooters. The PT 24/7 ran perfectly by the way.
Keep in mind this is only my second match I've ever shot... my first match last year I used a 1911 and came in dead last! ;D
Right now I'm just using a basic nylon, holds-anything-holster. I've been looking but still haven't found the right kydex-type holster for it. I wanted a Fobus, but the darn thing is way too tight. Any suggestions?

Currently, I'm using a Blackhawk Serpa Holster, which I like. Other holsters for the Springfield XD may also work. Also, I've fitted an XD Guide Gear Holster to mine with some heat from a Hair Dryer. They can be had pretty cheaply.
Try the Blackhawk Serpa, I use it with my PT845, fits like a plastic glove! It is my favorite holster out all of my kydex holsters. Fobus, Uncle Mikes, IMI defense!
