Lots of talk of how smooth the trigger is on both of these pistols. Have had my 24/7 Pro C DS since only Christmas, and have yet to shoot it in DA mode. Have run snap caps, and function checks in DA, but not carried in condition DA.

Cocked & locked here, don't want to use the decocker safety to make shootings of the PT145 & 24/7 C's all the same. Also, I carry the PT145 most of the time so decocking is not an option. I'm right handed so switching off the safety lever is very easy and quick for me.

I practice double taps with my OSS regularly with the first shot in DA, the second in SA. Decock gun and repeat. Sometimes I shoot every shot DA just to keep it in perspective. My PT145 is DA only.

actually normally none of the above!
i usually carry the 24/7's chamber loaded and cocked with no safety on!
I occasionally carry them chamber loaded and decocked but not very often.
It is wise to occasiaonally try the double action function when shooting just to be sure all is well in that area even if you never carry that way.
