Just got my new Firesights today and could not wait to install them. Rear was no problem as I have the correct size allen wrench for it but the front blade is a bit of a different story. I have some small allens but of course the size I need I don't have. Does anyone know who has already installed theirs what size the wrench was? I don't want to go into Lowes and pull out my pistol to ask if they have that size wrench..I need to get one so I can make adjustments at the range. I was able to install it using a 1.4mm precision screw driver but of course need to make sure it is tightened correctly pre-range would hate to lose it after 10 or 15 rounds.
Think I found the answer in smithing. Another owner was swapping the sights on his MilPro and found the same problem I have and turns out his front sight was a 1.5 mm set screw. I am going to give that a try and see what happens.
Here they are installed. Now all I need to do is go back to the range for fine tuning.
