Hello all,
I have a 24/7 DS 9mm, and I have shot about 1500 rounds through it. I clean it after every session and I was just thinking, ..... How often should I change my recoil springs and striker assembly? It still shoots perfect, only a few misfires (I think due to cheap ammo).
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks alot!

I've got over 8k through my 24/7 pro ds 4".
Just had my uncle (a ffl gunsmith) take a look and install a roll pin that had come loose (paid Taurus $2 for replacement rather than sending in gun)
Uncle said my gun looked in brilliant shape for 5k+.
Check your recoil spring assembly to make sure it is tight. Don't bind the springs "tightening" it unnecessary but do note the rods screw together. Mine was just a little loose (probably from disassembly cycles) and I tightened it up. (I fixed this months ago)
maybe just mine, but after about 2000 rounds, I felt like the slide was moving too easy. got a new spring assembly and it seems better. maybe just a random occurance.
My first two prings only lasted about 2,000 rounds. The third spring is failing at about 1,000 rounds.
