    mag sticking

On my new 24/7, I have noticed that one of the mags drops out clean, but my other one drops maybe 1 1/2" or so and then gets stuck. It doesn't stick so bad that it is hard to remove, just enough to keep it from falling out. I noticed when I took it out that there is a line rubbed in it on the right side. Anyone have this problem or know a fix for it? Here's a pic of the mag.

i know that the mags have a problem with tolerances. but that looks like you have an issue in the mag well. shine a light down the well and see if there is a burr or something in there. i know there are buffers molded into the inside corners of the mag well on the frame. and thats what it looks like after a few years of shooting your gun. but on a newer gun that looks like accelerated wear.

I took a picture of inside the mag well. There is a slightly raised spot if you can see it, but nothing sharp that I can see or feel. I'm not sure if this is what's causing the wear, but it's in the right spot. The other mag seems to be fine with just a slight line on that side.

that raised area is the buffer that aligns the mag. thats normal. i would feel around in there with your finger for any rough edges. if there is none then that mag just has a out of spec issue. maybe a hair bigger than the others. you can always run a fine grade file down the inside edge there. just a few light passes would probably knock down any burrs and open it up a little so the mags slide in and out better too. thats what i would do. but even if you do nothing its not going to have any ill effects.
