Personally I have never seen this exact color combo. So the value is hard for me to say. it's more rare than a normal 24/7 but not sure if that equates to value for your buyer
What is the approximate selling value(shipped in the US) of a Taurus PT24/7 Pro DS 9mm Cabela's special green / black w/ a 500 round count, excellent condition, (2) 17r mags?
I have someone that is interested in purchasing the above gun from me. I wasn't planning on selling, I was keeping it on hand as a SHTF and range weapon. But sometimes money talksand I still have yet to shoot it since I purchased it back in early January.
thanks

Me either, the color is what go the buyers interest but his friend also has a 24/7 he really got to like....So I'm not so sure how much real world value the color adds. I am really just want an idea of what a fair price would be for this weapon.Originally Posted by Sig_229_Elite

Okay I did a quick search at Gunbroker.com, there are no OD green\black ones on action but it seems like NIB 9mm 24/7 Pro's are going for $300-350. $350min is what I'd want for this pistol to make money talk...selling it for $275-300 isn't worth it to me.
I also noticed that the new 24/7 Pro's have a "molded" grip instead of the awesome fanned grip mine has which makes me want to keep it even more.

Yes, you have a rare DS model with the Ribber Grip. The OD colored frame in itself is rare. These features make the pistol somewhat collectible, and I doubt your prospective buyer would be willing to shell out a collector price for it!
If you like the gun, keep it!
If after you sold it, you would have to replace it, keep it!
IMO, just keep it!
Mine's not as fancy as yours, but I definitely plan to keep it and shoot it!

yea....I asked, but selling is pretty much a dead issue after seeing those NIB prices. I would want to "replace" the gun if I sold it. A local dealer has NIB 9mm Ruger P95's out the door for $270, I've shot a P95 before and liked it. My plan was to sell the 24/7, buy a P95 and pocket a C-note...but at the price I'd have to sell for it is not worth the trouble and time.Originally Posted by jwc007

I think, that color combo you have is the Cabela's exclusive. I just went to Cabela's last night and the price for that gun is $410. I personally wouldn't sell it for no less then $330 or so, and if your friend is willing to pay that much, I would tell him to go to Cabelas and get one for himself.
But then again, a wise man (my father) once told me ..... MONEY TALKS AND BULL SH!T WALKS!!!
