Finally got some range time yesterday! Pre-cleaned well and both mags too. Shot about 150 rnds of pmc bronze and didn't have a single issue. It was hungry! I shot about 10 percent in DA and the rest in SA...no issues at all. Sweet shooter! My 12yo ran about 20 shots through it and he had never fired a semi-auto hand gun before. He got all shots on a 12X12 target at 10yds and half at 20! I had a 3" group slightly left at 10 and 6" at 20yds. Had a great time!!! I'm tempted to pick up it's cousin in 9mm.

They are great little guns and handle well. The recoil is surprising on the 45. You would think a lot more would be expected.

Both of my 11 year old sons shot my .45 today and had no problems, I was surprised at how well they handled it. One hit the target at 15 yards at a pretty good group and the other was squeezing a little to hard so he missed quite a bit. But I was pleasantly surprised how little kick it had.
