    Your 24/7 .45 experience...

ok, so i've had my 24/7 pro ds .45 for 2 months and have put only 150 rounds through it. I had a jam or 2 in the first 20 or so rounds but soon learned it was due to me limp wristing my .45. Flawless since then, i plan on sending alot more lead down range once spring gets here and im planning on using this as my primary carry weapon for a long time once i get out and test it more. I would like to hear how everyone who owns a 24/7 .45 likes there weapon, if they trust the accuracy, reliability and toughness of the gun, and any other valuable info you want to share...

    Thanks guys.

I have had mine now for about 2 years. Love it. Over 3000 rounds thru it so far and I can keep all 12 rounds in a 3 inch circle at 10 yards off hand with no problem. Feeds all my reloads flawlessly. Carry it occasionally this time of year.

    Re: Your 24/7 .45 experience...

    I have the 24/7-c in 45.
I actually bought a 24/7c in 9mm first, liked it so well that a week later bought the 45 (my personal favorite handgun caliber) the 45 is the same dimensions as the 9mm.
both weapons have been very, very reliable, i have had 1 FTE (range ammo reloads) and I FTF, (range ammo reloads) and the primer was not dented, so I think both were ammo issues.
i have shot at leats 8 different types of self defense rounds through these weapons and they eat anything that will fit into the mag.
I did find that I had to adjust my sight picture with them going to POA=POI as opposed to 6 O'clock hold.
they have always printed nice groups just low orriginally, have run about 5-600 rounds through the 9mm and about 7-800 through the 45.
the felt recoil in such a light weapon is quiet amazing to me, along with the light weight.
i have a few taurus weapons and so far all have been very good-shoot excellent weapons for me.
    enjoy!

I get really good groups out of my .45 OSS.....well, as good as I can get with my skill set. No malfunctions in several hundred rounds of ballpoint. I've only shot one brand of hollowpoint and those can give me fits. I love the feel and balance of the gun and I'm even carrying it concieled using a Crossbreed Supertuck, something I didn't think I was going to be able to do with this large frame pistol.

I no longer have my 24/7 45acp, in a moment of weakness I traded it in for my PT1911. However, after replacing my magazines with good ones, it ran like a well tuned car....in fact, I qualified for my CHL with it.

I love this pistol but it is too big for me to CC so I replaced it with a PT145. It shoots well and feels great in my hand and I will have another when I run across a good deal. The 24/7 grip is awsome

The dual captive recoil system really takes the bite out. That, and the ergonomics of the 24/7 make a 45acp really manageable.

I have a 24/7 45 C DS and the first 200 rounds were great but I have arthritis really bad in my hands and the last time out I had a lot of jams. As it did not jam when I got it almost 2 years ago I have to blame myself it seemed really hard to control the little bugger.

I cleaned it up and am waiting for good weather to take a friend that I shoot with and see if its me.

My .45 24/7 OSS DS has been excellent so far. Feeding and firing everything I can jam into the Magazines. Have both second and third generation magazines. Accuracy has been stellar! Currently, it serves as my Winter HD Pistol.

A Standard .45 24/7 Pro DS is on my ever growing shopping list, but it's very near the top!
