Novak makes them. I don't know how tall they are, so I don't know how they might effect POI. They are for the OSS, but the dovetail is the same on all the 24/7s.

Who all makes night sights for the 24/7 Pro with the dove tail sights? If you have links to where to buy them too that would be very much appreciated
thanks

Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it binds the universe together.
You know the other funny thing about duct tape? There are hundreds of uses, but it's not used for ducts. Go figure...
MMC has them too!

I had my heart set on buying a 24/7 OSS .45 (5.25" barrel) with the Novak Tritium night sights. Today I finally went to a local gun shop and got my hands on a pistol with them mounted. It only took me a few seconds to realize I didn't like the night sights at all. The problem with them is that, in the day time, the white rings around the edges of the dots just don't show up nearly well enough. The standard white 3-dot (painted on) sights were MUCH better for shooting when there is any light. Sure, at night the night sights would probably be great, but shooting at night is the exception rather than the rule. I'm still getting a 24/7 OSS .45 with the 5.25" barrel, but just not with the Novak night sights. I'll be totally happy with the standard Novak 3-dot day sights. For night time, I'll mount a laser on the rail under the barrel. The laser will stay mounted at all times. I just won't use it unless it's bright enough to see on the target. In daylight lasers don't show up well except at pretty close range, but at night they show up well for hundreds of yards.
So if you haven't actually held a gun in your hand that had the Novak night sights on it in the day time, I'd say hold off on your purchase until you've had a chance to compare them to the standard 3-dot white sights.
I feel I should point out that if you are shooting something or someone at night you should be using a flashlight. That way you know that you are actually shooting what you intend to shoot. A good flashlight will cast enough light to illuminate the sights and eliminate the need for night sights. The flashlight will also destroy your night vision, which you will need if you want to see a tritium sight in the dark. If you don't know how to use a flashlight with a handgun then you should get some training.

This is a very good point,it would be a catastrophe to harm one of your family members because they may have sounded like an intruder.I also prefer the flashlight myself,I have a single LED light that just about blinds a person at night, but lets you see them very well.Originally Posted by dcphoto

I haven't read the entire thing yet, but The Box of Truth is preserving a series of posts from AR15.com about low light shooting. Seems like a decent read so far.
